About
About me:
Hello, my name is Sam and I live with my wife and two children in San Diego, California. I studied Architecture in school, practiced it for a while and later switched to computer programming and Database design. These days I develop web sites, do graphics design, take photographs and make images.
About this Blog:
The goal of this blog is to provide information, inspiration, and motivation to manage life. It will evolve and grow as I do, marking my thoughts and insights for where I am with my personal growth. I intend to document my own growth here and share the experience to help others who are searching for self-improvement techniques.
Here are some of the topics you'll see covered here:
- Motivation
- Personal Development
- Problem Solving, LifeHacks
- Consciousness
- Time Management
- Productivity tips
- Passion
Q & A:
Q. Why do you do the web site?
Documenting my own personal growth and development. As well share the experience with others in search of personal development techniques and insights.
Q. How did you get interested in Personal Development?
In the past 15 years I’ve read many books and have attended many seminars in the subject matter. Recently, I’ve come to the conclusion of needing to completely immerse myself in the subject and techniques.
Q. Do you consider yourself well organized?
Not at all. That is one of the reasons I’ve embarked on writing this blog. Like most people I manage to get many things done, yet I fail to “feel†happy about the results.
Q. What are your interests?
Personal Development, Architecture, Graphics Design, History, and Photography.
Q. What are your favorite movies?
1984 (1984)
, Brazil (1985), House of Flying Daggers (2005), Toys (1992), The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1989) , Syriana (2005), Dead Poets Society (1989), What the Bleep!?: Down the Rabbit Hole (2005)… and much more, I’ll document them in a separate file.
Q. What is Passion?
As Curt Rosengren puts it: Passion is the energy that comes from bringing more of YOU into what you do. Simply put, it's being who you are and doing what comes naturally. It's like allowing water to gain energy from flowing along it's natural riverbed, rather than trying to force it up and over a mountain.
