Google is begining to show their OFFICE tool set. They have merged their Web based Spreadsheet and Wordprocessing (Writely Purchased earlier this year) applications.

I took Google Docs for a spin, and it seems to work great. Just like other Google apps, you need to register to use it. Google is starting to build a powerful OFFICE suite; Gmail, Spreadsheet, Writely, and Calendar. I guess that’s why Microsoft views Google as their biggest threat.

If you’ve been using the Google Spreadsheet & Writely, your existing documents have been moved to Docs.
