Michael Moore vs Google
Many of you may know Google's famouse mantra: "Don't be evil!"
Google's mantra has always been "Don't Be Evil"
Now a bit of controversy in brewing under the surface where Lauren Turner of the Google Health Advertising Team writes:
Photosynth
Using photos of oft-snapped subjects (like Notre Dame) Microsoft's Photosynth (based on Seadragon technology) scraped from around the Web, creates breathtaking multidimensional spaces with zoom and navigation features that outstrip all expectation. Its architect, Blaise Aguera y Arcas, shows it off in this standing-ovation demo.
The Machine is Us/ing Us
This is an amazing video. Michael Welsch who created this video is a professor of anthropology at Kansas State University. He has some great ideas and fantastic ways of communicating them ;-)
Review: iGTD
As you may know, I've become a big fan of GTD (getting Things Done).
I've tried several applications on both PC's and my iMac. Here and here are a few comparisons I did a while back.
Finally, I think I've found the applications that works the best for me. It's called iGTD!
iPhone Ads
Remember when iPhone was announced earlier this year?
Well the new ads were introduced this evening on the CBS's 60 minutes. Here are the ads:
Off-Site backup
Backup! Backup! Backup!
I've been telling my clients to backup their data for the past 15 years!
However, the world has changed, and we depend on our computers for almost ALL business related tasks. Now I tell them; "Do you have an Off-Site backup solution in place?"
Yes indeed. One of my clients' office was burglarized last week, and they took ALL the computer equipment. I mean ALL. They took, all the workstations, monitors, servers, printers, and even the fax machine.
If we didn't have an Off-Site backup, they would have lost their business.
